MAYSA — Me & You Social Association is a student-led social and cultural club dedicated to bringing together the many different cultures, identities, and communities represented at AUT. MAYSA creates a welcoming environment where students can meet new people, experience different cultures, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging. Through social events, cultural celebrations, games, sports, food, and networking, MAYSA encourages students to step outside their usual social circles and connect with people they may not otherwise meet. The heart of MAYSA is simple: Me + You = Us. MAYSA’s mission is to connect AUT students from different cultural backgrounds by creating inclusive opportunities to socialise, celebrate diversity, exchange cultures, and build meaningful friendships. We aim to make university life more connected by creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, represented, and encouraged to be themselves.
