Ngā Mokai O Ngā Whetu
Ngā Mōkai o Ngā Whetū Mission Statement Ngā Mōkai o Ngā Whetū exists to create a safe, inclusive, and culturally grounded community for Māori students studying Oral Health at AUT. Our purpose is to foster whakawhanaungatanga, strengthen cultural identity, and support the academic, personal, and professional success of our members. We provide opportunities for connection, leadership, cultural development, advocacy, and engagement with the wider Māori oral health workforce. Through our kaupapa, we aim to uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi, promote Māori health equity, and inspire the next generation of Māori oral health professionals to improve oral health outcomes for whānau and communities.
