← About AUTSA membership
Opt out of AUTSA membership
From 1 October 2026, every AUT student will be an AUTSA member unless they opt out. You will not need a my.autsa account to use this form, so you can do it before you start studying.
Opting out opens on 1 October 2026
AUTSA is finalising the wording that explains what membership means.
The form will start taking requests once that wording is in place. Nothing is needed from you before then.
If you have a question, email autsa@autsa.org.nz.
AUTSA holds the register of members, not AUT. If something is not right, email autsa@autsa.org.nz.
